Junior Coaching Program

To ensure safety and so that junior riders know the rules of racing, Motorcycling Australia has created a Junior Coaching Program (JCP) for all riders aged 7 to under 16 who wish to obtain or renew a competition licence. The JCP took effect on 1 July 2006 and applies to all current and potential junior riders aged between 7 and under 16 (7-U16) who wish to obtain or renew a competition licence. Details of the JCP can also be found in the 'Kick Start – Getting Started In Junior Motorcycle Sport' booklet, which is typically distributed to clubs in mid-June, as well as chapter 3 of the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.
